Toyota company is going to launch 4 new vehicles in India in 2025! All of these will be SUVs (Sports Utility Vehicles) and some of them will also run on electricity. 1) Toyota Fortuner Hybrid:
Everyone’s favorite Fortuner will now come in a new avatar! It will also run with the help of some electricity, which is called mild hybrid.
- Engine: It will have a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine that will give 201 bhp power and 500 Nm torque.
- Benefits: It will give 5% more mileage than the normal diesel model and will also be smooth to drive.
- Features: It will have modern features like ADAS and 360-degree camera.
- When will it come?: Expected in the first 6 months of 2025.
- How much will it cost?: Around Rs 40 lakh to Rs 53 lakh.
2) Toyota Urban Cruiser Electric SUV:
This will be Toyota’s first fully electric SUV!
- Battery: It will get two types of batteries – 49 kWh (144 bhp) and 61 kWh (174 bhp). The torque of both will be 174 Nm. It can run up to 500-550 km on a single charge.
- Design: It will look completely new and great.
- Features: It will have features like 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster and 7 airbags.
- When will it arrive?: In the second 6 months of 2025.
- How much will it cost?: Around Rs 20-25 lakh. This car will be made in India only.
3) Toyota Hyrider 7-seater SUV:
Now more people will be able to sit in Hyrider! It will be a 7-seater SUV.
- Engine: It will have two engine options: 1.5-litre K15C petrol mild hybrid (103 bhp, 137 Nm) and 1.5-litre TNGA strong hybrid (114 bhp).
- When will it arrive?: By the end of 2025.
- How much will it cost?: Around Rs 15-22 lakh. This vehicle will also be made at the Kharkhoda plant in Haryana.
4) Toyota Land Cruiser Prado:
This will be a very luxurious and powerful SUV, which is best for off-roading.
- Engine: In India, it will have a 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine that will give 200 bhp power and 500 Nm torque. It will get an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
- Features: It will have premium features like 12.3-inch touchscreen and digital driver display.
- When will it come?: By the end of 2025.
- How much will it cost?: Around Rs 1.7 crore to Rs 1.95 crore. This vehicle will come to India as a completely built (CBU).
