Hyundai India sales in April 2025: 90 lakh vehicles sold, big jump in exports

Hyundai Motor India Limited has given the account of its vehicle sales in April 2025. This month Hyundai’s vehicles were sold less in India, but their sales increased a lot in foreign countries. The good news is that Hyundai has sold a total of 90 lakh vehicles since starting operations in India.

Sold less in India, more outside:

In April 2025, Hyundai sold 44,374 vehicles in India. This is 11.61% less than April 2024 last year. Sales have also decreased by 14.37% compared to last month i.e. March 2025. Hyundai sold 51,820 vehicles in March.

But, when it comes to selling in foreign countries, Hyundai has done a very good job. In April 2025, the company exported 16,400 vehicles, whereas in April last year this figure was 13,500 vehicles. This means that there has been a huge increase of 21.48% in exports.

If we combine the sales of both India and abroad, then in April 2025 Hyundai sold a total of 60,774 vehicles. In April last year this figure was 63,701 vehicles, that is, there has been a slight decrease of 4.59% overall.

This month Hyundai India has achieved another big milestone. Since the company started working in India, till now it has sold 90 lakh vehicles in its country. This shows how long and successful journey Hyundai has come in the Indian market. This year Hyundai is also celebrating its 30th anniversary in India.
